Great app, nice levels.
Great app, nice levels.
Very nice app.
Nice app - my daughter loves it. I dont think that there is a problem in paying for extended version. You alwayc can play for free and it is also a lot of fun!
Its Lots of fun
This app uses a lot of power. I guess that is understandable on some level. Just play with the iPad plugged in. Right? The problem is that the apps orientation is fixed. _- no landscape; no inverted portrait. That means the power cord is inconveniently placed at the bottom of the device with no opportunity to reorient. Which makes playing while reclining uncomfortable and annoying. The messages are inaccurate as well. You dont need to tap to start play, for example. Time controls would be interesting.
Best chess app youve ever played.
The app is very easy to use and it is also very helpful
Although this is a very helpful app, I wish u didnt have to pay for each lesson. Its kinda frustrating but I get it; at least lower the prices from $1.99 a pop. Cause whose gonna spend $25.00+ on 1 hour worth of lessons when u could probably get them for free off the internet. Other than that Its a great app.
A lot better than a lot of other chess apps, plus I love telling my friends "I beat Magnus Carlson at chess"
For the love of God can you please update the pieces - they tree terribly detract from the whole experience.
Box to enter birth year doesnt work and cannot exit profile edit screen without entering one
Very poor app overall, you wont learn anything using it. There are no puzzles or anything like that. His tutorial videos cost $2 each, which you can find for free on YouTube chess channels. It costs $2 for more diverse difficulties. Even the evaluator or "Magnometer" cost $3. Like really?! You cant save games or scroll forward and backwards during a game. You can watch a replay afterwards, but thats about it. Its bug free and very powerful, but then again, I do have the Stockfish 7 chess engine, which is FREE.
The app kept crashing from time to time. I deleted it.
Definitely the best chess app in the App Store, cant wait for multiplayer to be released!
Awesome!
Really fun to play Chess against different ages.
Hope multiplayer comes out soon! Definitely upping my game in chess thanks to the video tutorials and constant gameplay. Recommend!
Its interesting how they use Magnus as their poster boy for the game. Overall the game plays well for a mobile app. Whats different from this just came from other Mobile apps is it offers teaching instructions and do overs. This app could actually increase your knowledge of the game.
It is fun. Ive only beaten the first few ages so far, but its been a fun and quick paced app.
Regular updates, interaction from developers and a fun system of progression make this a great addition to your collection. Go Magnus!
